To start a post about Spoon, I feel obligated to mention that they are Austin’s finest indie rockers. Never have I seen so much focus on where a band is from. Anyway, I don’t really have a point here, so I will get to the music.
The band has taken a little heat for “You Got Yr Cherry Bomb” sounding like some other tune by a band from Nashville that no one has ever heard of. Count me in the “who gives a fuck” camp.. It’s the folk tradition and since Bob Dylan made it cool, everyone is realizing they can swing it, too.

I also like this band too…which only means one thing…you must send me some songs haha I think at least 75% of the songs on my computer are influenced by you haha awesome site boys, well done…if this took over the world i would surrender haha Ive been seriously thinking about getting a group of people together to fly to Montreal to see Modest Mouse when they come there sometime…hopefully soon…that would make my fucking year. Ill post more later!
