Win & Regine Join Springsteen on Stage [VIDEO]

Published by ryantheduke at 12:01 am under Videos, Shows, News

Win and RegineYou heard it first here, folks.. ok, maybe not.. those pitchfork guys are just too fast (but you’ll see it here first!).

Unreal moment in Ottawa tonight as Win and Regine from Arcade Fire joined the boss on stage in the encore to play “State Trooper” and “Keep The Car Running”. It was quite hard to film in there, but we did get the songs recorded. They will be up tomorrow when Brock gets back to Montreal.

brockmasterflex update:

I’m back in Montreal and uploaded the videos. I think we are the first to get them. There is a lot of camera movement (I’m sorry, I was in the pit) but the audio dynamite!

The MP3s will be up tonight, and more footage of the show (sans Arcade Fire). Stay tuned!

Amazing. Thank you so much. I have been a Springsteen fan forever and an Arcade Fire fan for about a year ( just saw them last weekend in NYC) and this is the most amazing thing I have seen in quite some time. Thanks so much!

Thanks for posting that. Nice job shooting it too. I’m sure most nights they would have busted your ass but for whatever reason, pit security for cameras seemed pretty lax last night. I must have been about 15 feet away from you to your right. I was the guy crapping his pants.

    Cheers.

when we heard the reports last night, there was much banging on tables and shouts of “#$@!” and “$#(****”.

love the ‘holy shit’ from either the taper or a person near the taper at the end. the only appropriate response.

    Jesus, you were pitchforked… congrats!

Thank you for this video. Aside from the musical brilliance of Arcade Fire and the respect Bruce showed–I can think of very few tributes as noteworthy as Bruce covering someone else’s tune–I love the taper’s (Ryan?) comments just as much. They make this clip even more memorable because I would have reacted the same way and said the same damn things. Definitely a night to remember and I appreciate the clip!

just confirms my estimation that Arcade Fire are the heirs to the E Street Band.

they just about razed Kansas City on 9/28.

My husband and I were leaning on the barricade to the pit for the whole show, Win and Regine walked in before the Boss even hit the stage. They stood in front of us for the entire show at the back of the pit until the encore started. Never thought they would end up on stage. I recognized them right away, but no one around us seemed to even know who they were. We saw Arcade Fire open for U2 in Ottawa a couple of years ago and became instant fans. Never dreamed we would see them perform with Bruce as well.
